Kinect Sports Rivals Review

Got this given to me for free but not had a go yet.I'll get out of breath just having my face scanned but will fire it up soon.

So Kinect Sports Rivals is with us and we have had time to play a little bit and I have to say this has not lived up to my expectations so far. It does take far too long to get up and running and then forcing you to play in a set order for training is frustrating
to say the least.

Loading times between games are far too long IMO and don't even think about failing training as you have to go through all the Coach video stuff again with no "Skip" option.

Really need to be able to play against friends online too and we need wireless headsets for this too.

I've just completed training and played 1 game of each sport and found these to be far too easy and very limited in what I can actually do. Wake racing was my favorite sport with Tennis my least favorite.

More to follow when I have played a bit more

Fits, wireless headsets is a fair point mate. I haven't played it but I can imagine that it isn't easy to navigate with your body whilst hanging a remove from a wire attached to your head. Unless you have Kinect to chat. I wanna see your champion too

 

I was playing this with the wife and daughter yesterday, woke up this morning and I feel like I've run a marathon :-/

I'm on a fitness regime now, instead of getting my kebabs, pizza's, Chinese food delivered, I will drive down myself and pick it up in future
