Kinect speech commands in Ireland

Afternoon

I'm just posting this again as we still don't have the Kinect fully working in Ireland. This seems to be the same problem as the Kinect from the 360, it doesn't recognise us as an English speaking country.

At this time, Ireland is still not a supported region for the Xbox One voice commands. However, the 360 support documentation does list Ireland as a supported region in the event you wanted to pursue that on the Xbox 360 forums.

It was in relation to the xbox one, thanks. But it would be nice to find out when this issue may be addressed. As we are any English speaking country I would hope it should be an easy fix.

Makes me wonder why I bothered putting in the time on Voice Studio - thought it was to make our overall experience better but sure were only Ireland - No voice support, no TV support - pretty sure outside of the games these were 2 pretty large selling points
for Microsoft. Ah well they have our money now, we no longer matter!! Xbox One paperweight!!

 

I was sure yesterday Microsoft would have a patch for the kenict in the update but yet again nothing for Ireland. Come xbox do you even read or track any of the post on this form. We're paying the same for xbox live membership every year as everyone else;
there's little for Irish users to download as it is, at least give us a blood Kenict the works for us. It's just sitting there since day one and nothing.

Any news on when Speech recognition will be supported in Ireland ? Will there any compensated for one year without voice support?

Why can't they just make a copy of the UK voice support and call it a beta until the Irish voice support is ready?

-The new achievements app

-Kinect speech recognition for any English speaking country including Ireland

 

Let hope they do update the kenict for ireland, it's dragging on a bit at this stage, it's bad enough that we haven't even had an app or TV considering these were it big selling points. Fingers crossed for July update so.
