Kinect sound and speech!,

Hi all I've set up my kinect for speech and to use as the microphone. But online I cannot hear anybody or speak to anybody. Am I missing something! Is there something I'm not doing

Works perfectly until it wants me to say 'resume speech tutorial' I think problem is how I pronounce tutorial anyway tried like 10 times and couldn't get it to work

 

Kinect Speech Recognition

I live in the Netherlands, any way for me to turn on english speech recognition? As dutch isnt available yet?

I've got gold 14 day trail that came with the console ,

 

From Xbox Home:

1.) Press the menu (start) button

2.) Go to settings

3.) Go to Kinect

4.) Check the box that says "use kinect microphone for chat"

5.) Do not use kinect microphone for chat. It sounds bad and you will annoy the fecal matter out of your friends when they hear every little thing happening in your house.

 

Just to add on ^ there are some games that don't seem to pick up sound either. I know when I first played Titanfall that I couldn't hear anyone and no one could hear me (in game chat). I am sure that's been addressed now but also, don't forget to remember
that some people may be in party too so you wouldn't hear them regardless
