Kinect Sesame Street TV

hi. Ive just purchased kinect sesame street tv for my daughter and it comes with a one year season pass that includes access to thousands of clips, complete season of abbys flying fairy school and bert & ernie's great adventures in addition to the digital
episodes of all season 1 interactive episodes. I redeemed the code a couple of days ago but when i go into the app and select a clip it says "your season 1 pass has expired. You still own and can play all the season 1 interactive episodes but the featured
playlist, top lcips, abbys flying fairy circus school and bert and ernie's great adventures are no longer available. You can regain access to these features by purchasing the Season 2 pass"

so, two questions.

why has my pass expired when ive only just redeemed it (game bought new and sealed)?

Why am I unable to but the Season 2 pass from within the app? The purchase button does not work and theres no price displayed (just the old microsoft point logo)

can you fix this so I have access the clips and other content I've paid for

To me, it sounds likely that the licensing agreement expired so they can no longer offer the content, but that's my speculation.

If as you say you have only streamed episodes, then it is unlikely that you "own" them, whereas if you had downloaded you may very well be able to re-download, but I'm not entirely sure how the Kinect Sesame Street TV app works.

You could of course add this suggestion to the Feedback site, to let them know that you would like this ability to re-acquire owned content:

I have also purchased Kinect Sesame Street TV on DVD and received a Season One Pass. It downloaded without incident but when I tried to access the exclusive app content it immediately told me the Season One Pass was expired. Then I tried to to get Season
Two and that's not even purchasable through the app but the individual episodes of Season Two are. Do I just buy them? I want access to everything I paid for.

I would like to throw my name into the hat and state that I'm having the same exact issue -- I redeemed my season pass for Season One via DVD code and my pass expired instantly. I actually went a step further and purchased each individual episode for Season
Two since -- as others have stated -- isn't purchasable and I'm still unable to access the content, such as Top Clips, Featured Playlist, etc. As you know, it's dependent of a season pass license.

I'm being cordial as I say this, but can't someone just issue out the license for Season One or even perhaps Season Two as well? That's essentially all we need. I have spent over six hours discussing this with a customer service via chat and on the phone
just this week and definitely would like to see a timely resolution to this.

Also, if anyone would like to use this as reference, the Service Request number for my call is [Mod Removed].

 

Same thing here. I would be willing to pay for season 2 if I had the ability to. I know other people that would like to play this game and give you guys money but they are unable to purchase anything. People, including me, are expecting this broken dlc to
be fixed very soon.

We've been trying to purchase Season Two of Kinect Kinect Sesame Street TV for the past year, trying every month or so. We always get a message that it is currently unavailable and to try again later. My daughters really want Season Two!

 

Wow, still not fixed... Miss Diggz, when will this broken game be fixed. I want to pay for the season pass 2. Please, take my money.

 

Why did my reference number get removed? It's not like it was my personal email address or phone number.

I spent A LOT of time on the phone and chat, so there's probably a ton of good information to be used in troubleshooting this.

Well, I've just found the page where Mister Quimby has announced that Kinect Sesame Street TV & Kinect Nat Geo TV are no longer available as of October 12th 2015 (today as of me writing this) and the apps are decommissioned...

The disappointing thing about this is that I've failed to purchase the Episodes in time before the closure and I'm stuck with an incomplete game on my gamer-card. I've been waiting for an opportunity to purchase the stuff, but I did not have over £50 at
the time and I couldn't get the Season Pass due to an in-game glitch.

If I knew this was going to happen today, I would have probably picked up the Episodes before the closure. But the motto is you win some and lose some and I've lost on this one.

This is going to be a shot in the dark. But would there be a possibility that this App along with Kinect Nat Geo TV will be available again in the future? I was wondering if everything could be rein-stated at least until 31st December 2015 as we only had
3 days notice that these Kinect titles would be removed completely and I'm sure not many of us would be aware of it.

I would still like to pick-up the Episodes within the game and complete it if it's possible as I'm gutted I've got it in-complete on my card without any Episodes purchased.
