Kinect sends multiple (duplicate) digits to my Verizon box when changing channels.

Most if not all of us are using the Fios Quantum box(VMS1100) and using an XBOXOne manufactured in 2015.. Ok, fix the issue.. Stop asking what we are using as its been made perfectly clear already.

 

Info for my issue

1) Model of the set top box - Arris IPC1100 (Verizon Fios)

2) The codeset configured for the box - C1376

 

@Vermin. We are all most certainly not using that box, and we too would appreciate our issue being fixed as well. So let them be thorough and do the job right.

LOL, sorry about that. We have checked in a fix and it should be in preview soon. After the next update, check again, as I'm not sure which build the fix got sent out in.

I can report that the new preview update that came out today 2/12/2016 has fixed my issue with my Verizon fios box. Works great now.

 

How does one get into the Preview program to get the update?

 

Saltydemurrer -- Unfortunately the preview program has pretty much been closed since November to new members due to being at capacity. The only way to be invited is to have a person on your friends list to submit your gamertag to the program & then wait
to see if Microsoft accepts you (an invite doesn't guarantee you will get in).

If you are accepted, you will get an xbox live message with instructions on what to do and to download the preview program dashboard.

 

I just upgraded from day one to elite. Day one worked fine. But mine is a Comcast RNG150N. Send double the signals. I've tried old remote code and multiple others. Everything either doesn't do anything or sends the signal twice. I do a lot of watching
on it and this is a let down.

 

The February update will be coming out very soon. Can you guys please check after that update? I believe we've fixed the problem.
