Kinect sends multiple (duplicate) digits to my Verizon box when changing channels.

xbox media remote sends duplicate digits to Rng150n

My Xbox One sends spurrious additional digits when changing channels. this is intermittent. example, i choose channel 414 from the one guide, xbox sometimes sends 414, but half the time it will send 4144 and takes me to an invalid channel. I have repositioned
the ir blaster including placing i right against the sensor in the cable box. Any thoughts?

Everything works except for changing channels. A four digit channel will sometimes only receive 2 or 3 of the 4 digits (for example 1501 may be 501, 151, 150 etc.) I have tried putting the Kinect sensor directly in front of the cable box with only slight
improvement. Thus, I don't think and IR extender would help my scenario. Any ideas would be appreciated.

 

Now that the holidays are over, can we get some kind of progress update? It's almost been a month since the last word from devs.

And no, OS update 10.0.10586.1026 released today does not fix this issue. Just tested it.

 

Same Issue as stated in this thread.

Anticipating the fix to utilize the full ability of my Xbox One.

There was just an update. I haven't had a chance to test it yet to see if it fix the problem unless they could elaborate and say if it was in this update or not.

 

Not in the update. The fix is being tested on a wide variety of hardware right now and has not been checked in.

Thank you for the update. I went ahead and returned my kinect since it was basically a paper weight ( based on my usage) until the problem is resolved. But I look forward to trying it in the future with either the kinect or the IR transmitter once the bugs
are removed.

 

I am having same issue. Either manually entering channe using smart glass remote or selecting station from one guide results in double digits being sent to my cable box.
