Kinect sending signal IR signal multiple times for channels

I have 2 Xbox Ones that have identical problems since we first bought them. When we select a channel in the Xbox Guide the Kinect sends each channel number 3 times. For example if I selected channel 703 it will send out 777000333. I used my smart phone camera
and you can see the IR on the Kinect send 3 signals/pause/send 3 signals/pause /send 3 signals. I have an Entone cable box. Help!!!

One Guide won't change channels AT&T Uverse

You can't change channels without the kinect or an IR cable. The kinect is what sends the IR signal to the box.

 

AV Receiver issue with volume control

Have you considered the IR might not be receiving well? The Kinect is your IR blaster (remote) so if it can't get the signal to the sensor on the AVR3600 then even though the Kinect knows the brand, model and it is sending the up/down signal it won't get
to the box properly. I'm having a similar issue with my Mediasonic Homeworx TV tuner - the sensor is so weak that it may or may not get the channel changes correctly every time even though the Kinect hears me and attempts to make the channel change.

 

This sounds similar to my issue:

I have extreme lag when using my Uverse remote to do anything with the Xbox One connected: change channel, select recording, rewind/play/ffwd a program, etc. The remote is just extremely laggy.

BUT!! When I turn the Kinect off in the settings, everything works just fine. I have absolutely no problems with my DVR/STB, but I lose out on all Kinect functionality.

 

Try adjust the IR delay

settings - tv & one guide - troubleshooting - IR delay

Try increasing or reducing the delay and see if that solves your problem.

I have the same problem with an Entone Amulet 505, has anyone found a solution to this?

 

Same issue here. They changed the UI and now using IR Delay: Slow, Recommended or Fast all cause the same issue for me. Trying to go to 811 goes to 880011.
