Kinect required to use Cortana

I use it and for me it useful therefore I don't care. Kinect isn't the reason for 3rd party differences. You are reaching.

 

I don't know who is doing what with his Xbox one....

But there is one,who didn't saw the evolution & changes in (what was called) "gaming console" in the last 20 years....At least,it gives him an excuse to rant.....

Gaming consoles doesn't excit anymore,get informations,don't buy on day one if you're not 100 % sure,if you're unhappy you can resell it,....Basic consumer moves.

......

Now,i,like Kinect,i like Cortana,no prob for me....Just hope,she won't tell me that i played too much & must go to bed.

I'd love to hear the explanation then. I based my statements on the comments by devs and Microsoft. Microsoft even tired to minimize it by freeing up some of the resources which Monolith took advantage of in SoM

We are discussing Cortana which requires a Kinect that isn't sold with every Xbox and the impact that Cortana may/will have on those of us who won't be using it. About as on topic as you can get.

 

Seems you don't read your own posts.

Everyone of my post has discussed the Kinect, Cortana........so how am I off topic?

 

Weather it uses minimal resources or not isn't the issue. Some devs use the extra and still can't meet certain people's expectations, some devs didn't need the extra and achieved what people said was not possible on the platform,

My view is those devs are just not as good and the Xboxone platform is what it is and future engines will make games perform better not removing what makes X1 the console I like eg. Voice commands/snapping/TV integration/gamedvr and screenshots all available
while I game.

 

You're talking about Kinect sucking Xbox one resources and how you would prefer to have a more powerful console that play only games....

And for you this is on topic,just because you wrote Kinect (or Cortana).
