Anyways, I'm glad MS has decided to do business with me. I knew they'd come around eventually. I just didn't think it would only take 6 months.

 

I've been playing a lot of pc lately and reading on a lot of pc forums. Been staying away from here and not playing console as much. Coming back today I had seriously forgotten how immature the crowd on here truely is. I mean look at all the whiners shouting
"told you so"! Personally the dumping of kinect as an integral part of the system and making it optional has totally relegated it to to the realm of uselessness. We arnt going to see hardly any developers using it in thier games now. Why would they put in
the effort when there is no guarantee that everyone will have it. I think it's time to throw in the towel and head back to pc gaming as a permanent thing. There is now nothing left of Microsofts original vision and I for one think this is a loss to us all.
How can a company innovate and bring us new ideas if they are just going to be shot down by a few that don't like it while the rest of us suffer. As is always the case, the cry babies got their way. Goodbye console gaming.

 

Just because someone has a "vision", doesn't necessarily mean it's a good one.

 

Big mistake...MS needed to drop the price but leave Kinect in. Now what we have is a weaker console at the same price as it's main competitor. I'll jump in when the price without Kinect drops to $349...MAYBE $369, no more.

 

@ForeZee: The Xbox 360 never dominated the market last gen,or maybe before the release of the PS3 and the Wii....

The Wii sold the most,Xbox 360/PS3 are mostly equal.

But still,the best game on PS4 is Xbox forums.....

 

I read the price of the Kinectless console is the same as One with the Kinect? Sorry, really cba to read through all these pages or look up more news about this. But if what I read is true I don't see what MS is trying to accomplish with this move. Who'd
buy less for the same?

 

I just had to lol at the guy with no life keeping score between himself and the "xbots" .... We are all gamers can't we just get along if you enjoy the games on the system you bought them you obviously didn't waste your money just leave it at that. People
come from different backgrounds and different taste and like different things don't criticize them for that

 

@ForeZee Oh and at the spy camera bull you are spreading you are more likely to by spied on by your cellphone which probably has a camera if not 2 over your Kinect by the NSA

 

Enigma's right - if you're enjoying your PS4, why are you even here complaining about the Xbox One? It serves no purpose except to troll. Don't worry about educating others - they're smart enough to figure things out on their own and make their own decisions.
They don't need you guys for that (I'm not going to point fingers - you know who you are).

 

Every console I know has been released in a budget model form with less features.

The PS2 had an available hard drive feature that was removed from cheaper models.

The gamecube had component video that was removed in the cheaper model.

The 3DS has a cheaper model called 2DS that lacks the 3D display.

The cheaper model of the wii is not compatable with gamecube games or accessories.



What you have is a LIMITED EDITION "DAY ONE" PREMIUM model that was COMPLETE WITH ALL FEATURES.

Your xbox one console will be able to access 100% out of every game on the system. The budget model will not be able to access 100% of every game. (kinect features)

You may not have wanted the kinect, however that is not the reason you payed more for the system. You paid the extra money so that you could get it early and not have to be patient and wait a few months for a price drop
or a budget model.
