    Kinect Problem with XBOX One Elite Console


    I have an XBOX One Elite Console with Kinect. My Kinect works great except that it does not boot up with the console. After the console boots up I have to remove the Kinect cord from the console and plug it back in and it comes right up and works great.
    It does not matter whether or not Instant On or Power Saving Mode are on. My Kinect works great on my kids XBOX Ones. I was curious if anyone has had this problem. Didn't know if this is something specific to the Elite XBOX One. Any help would be appreciated.

    I am also having the same problem, 4 months later. I recently upgraded from my Day One Xbox One to the Elite console. Now my kinect AND my mutimedia remote only work part of the time. Voice commands are finicky.

    What current Xbox-360 Console are you using? Ex.) Elite, Kinect. Etc Etc.

    I don't have a solution for you, I can only say that I have an Elite console and have no issues with the Kinect.

    Xbox One Elite Controller Issues

    I was having the exact same issue, and my Elite Xbox One was in "instant power on" mode. I switched to "energy saving" mode and now the controller stays synced. It's annoying, though, because now I cannot use my Kinect to turn my Xbox on when I get home.
    Seems like this is a software problem, though, and not a hardware issue. Microsoft needs to get to work fixing this. I just upgraded to the Elite console from my original Xbox One and I feel like this is unacceptable.

    I just bought the Elite bundle, don't notice any difference in the SSD Hybrid drive to my Original Day One console (apart from size) , but the controller is the dogs nuts. I would go for the Elite if you can, I reused the Kinect from my original.
