    Kinect Power Issue


    My Kinect no longer stays powered on as it should. It constantly turns itself off and on over and over. The light goes on and off randomly and it stops responding to commands randomly.

    Cannot hear voices through headset

    My friend ran into the same issue.

    -power down your console

    -unplug kinect

    -power up console

    Kinect adadpter not working properly on Xbox One X

    I’m curious, when you were having the issue was the light on the Kinect power adapter white and all the lights on your Kinect were turned off?

    Hey Alazam,

    Sorry to hear about the power issue with your Kinect sensor. We definitely recommend hitting up each of the steps on our

    Kinect Won't Turn On     support article, which will have the steps that are most relevant to the issue you described. If the issue persists after trying each of the steps detailed, the next step will be to have the Kinect sensor serviced by visiting our
    Online Service Center.

    Keep us posted on how it goes!

    I was about to start my own thread about this then I saw yours. I am having the exact same issue. I've recalibrated it and all that yet it still shuts off all the time and I have to restart the One to get it going again.

    Some have said it may be because I am in the beta program so if that's the case maybe an update will fix it later?

    Otherwise I just might have to get another one since I think I'm out of warranty for a repair.

    Xbox One no longer turns off my audio receiver after Feb. 2014 update

    Mia, this is a different issue than the tv not powering on. This is some sort of software issue that is causing the Kinect not to send a power IR signal to Samsung soundbars specifically. Recalibration will not work because Kinect is simply not sending a
    signal to these Samsung soundbars.

    If you are having issues getting the Kinect to power on, let's run through all of the steps on the

    Kinect power guide    .

    Does the same thing happen if you test the Kinect on another console?
