Kinect plugged in but it says it's not

I haven't had any issues with my kine t before but when I turned on my console today my kinect wasn't working. It says kinect not plugged in. I checked to make sure and it is. I'm in the preview beta program and not sure if I have Junes update yet or is
this is a big from mays update or if my kinect just stopped working. My version I'm running on my xbox one is

6.2.10951.0

not sure if that helps or not but any ideas or known issues of this happening? I have 2 other co workers reporting in they have game disc reading problems that started today and they are both in the beta program too. Doesn't help to have 3 gamestop employees
to be having issues to help sell xbox ones to people lol. Any help is appreciated.

Says my kinect is unplugged but it's plugged in help? Lol

 

Kinect not working

Mine is plugged in but it says "Starting Up Kinect" in the Kinect menu, and it never starts...

 

My Kinect also wouldn't show up. I did a hard reset and went through steps with support to figure something out but nothing. What happened is the Kinect cords have been defaulting. I got a new Kinect when I sent mine in. If you bought an xbox at launch the
Kinect cord is more likely to be the problem.

 

Yea i bought the day 1 edition, but i was just curious if it was something with the update or with people in the beta preview program update. How long did it take them to send you a new kinect? You didn't have to send the whole console right? just the sensor
itself? Would like a Microsoft rep to respond in here is possible, i dread calling customer service so hoping this would help first

 

Came home to find mine not saying it's plugged in and I'm in the beta program as well and got the June update. Not sure what is going on.

 

Mine is working off and on, showing in the top right corner when it is and isn't working. Its getting very frustrating.

Still no answer what is happening with my kinect same is says kinect is unplugged I tried every step I could find and nothing worked comeon Microsoft I can't speak for anyone else but I spent 700 on mine with a game N a controller I had thought it was gonna
work I could paid 3-400 less for a ps but I am a loyal xbox lifer lol so I feel an answer is deserved here

 

As mister quimby stated if you are in the preview program you need to post in the Xbox early access forums,if not start your own thread and try to be as detailed as possible with what steps you have taken so far.this way we can better help you. Without telling
you to try things you have done already.
