    Kinect PlayFit calorie retrieval is not available


    Hi there,

    everytime I start the Xbox 360 app "Kinect PlayFit" I get a message that the calorie retrieval counter is not working right now. It's been like that for more than a week now. Can anyone confirm this? I would like to finish this app and get all the remaining
    achievements to 100% in the near future... So when will this be fixed or will MS just ignore this and we can add one more game to the list of titles with unobtainable achievements?

    Kinect PlayFit app gives error on start, drops to dashboard.

    Every time I start Kinect Playfit, it give me the error message "playfit calorie retrieval is not available right now" and then drops me to the dashboard. It's very frustrating.

    PlayFit asks me to check non-existent section on Status page (and it works if I wait 1 minute too!)

    The page (xbox.com/status) does exist. The section on that page called “[status icon] PlayFit calorie retrieval” does not. I am not getting this error when opening the app today, so I was unable to catch the exact error message.

    Kinect PlayFit calorie retrieval is not available

    I forgot to add that it is impossible to launch the app. After receiving the described notification I get kicked to the dashboard...

    Do you still unlock achievements when you start up the app? Friend told me that calorie counter is still working in background and that achievements do unlock but I could not verify this (1500 calories away from next achievement)

    Today at my second try I could see the opening screen and it had more calories than what I used to have but then the not available message displayed again after a while. Couldn't navigate the panels though.

    I'm getting the same error message now. Haven't had the kinect for awhile, and was hoping to finish some of the achievements on my kinect enabled games.
