Kinect PlayFit app ongoing issue

Hi there,

everytime I start the Xbox 360 app "Kinect PlayFit" I get a message that the calorie retrieval counter is not working right now and I get kicked to the Dashboard (app closes itself). It's been like that for more than a week now. Can anyone confirm this?
I would like to finish this app and get all the remaining achievements to 100% in the near future... So when will this be fixed or will MS just ignore this and we can add one more game to the list of titles with unobtainable achievements?

Kinect PlayFit Freezes on startup

Hello, anyone encountered this problem too? My Kinect PlayFit App just freezes on startup. I need to restart the console every time. The only things that changed since the last time I started my console is the fact that I have downloaded the Kinect Sports
Season Two Season Pass. I have also downloaded and re-installed the Kinect PlayFit App too.

Kinect Playfit is an App, not a game. Its more or less a fitness tracker. Look for it in your Apps section.

I'm in the same boat. I've been trying to load my updated stats since August 31 as well and I was in the 7th position globally for calorie count! I've tried Tweeting for support and chatting, but the ambassadors just close the chat window without responding
to my question. Truly infuriating. It would be nice to know if I'm ever going to see my stats update again -- I was going for the #1 spot!

 

As of yet , that issue has yet to be resolved . We as the Ambassador community , have said something about this because we have been getting some complaints about the issue. I will continue to update this thread as time permits, and information becomes avaliable.

Thank you for coming back to us. Yes the app runs again. The calorie retrieval counter is stuck on my old status though but calories are definitely added in the background as I unlocked a related achievement. In the statistics tab I can also see how many
new calories I've burnt (which is important to know for other achievements). I guess its not completely fixed but ok this way .

 

No worries at all! Happy to see it's at least tracking for achievement purposes. If it ends up not counting again, please let us know!

 

Hi Misses Quinzel, the original problem is occuring again. Every time I start the Kinect PlayFit app I get the message again that the calorie retrieval counter is not working right now. The only difference is that I am not kicked to dashboard. Instead, I
stay in the app which tries to reconnect every now and then but the same error message is displayed over and over again. Can you look into that again? That would be nice!
