    Kinect PlayFit app not working AGAIN (3rd time now)


    Hi again,

    this is the third time I create a thread in the support forums because the
    Kinect PlayFit app     on Xbox 360 is not working again
    after it has been fixed 2 times before    . The error seems to be the same in general but with slight differences compared to last time. When I start the app, the in-game menu is not appearing, just the blue and white background which stays infinitely.
    When I sign out in this state, there is a pop-up which says I have to be signed in to use the app. When I do that with my Gold account, I get the error message which I also got the last time when I posted here: "Calorie retrieval is not working right now,
    please return later" or something along the lines. It also says I should check the status of the app under
    Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage but everything seems normal there. Please fix the calorie counter or make it working in the background at least because I want to get all achievements
    in this app asap - and I pay for Gold so online features of apps and games - especially from Microsoft - should work. It can't be so difficult to fix such a simple app with the size of 107 MB.

    I have already deleted the app, redownoaded my profile and cleared cache and this did not help!

    Kinect PlayFit app error

    So I have recently downloaded the Kinect PlayFit app on Sunday, 7 May 2017. I have been recieving this error everytime I open this app: Sorry, PlayFit calorie retrevial is not avalible right now. Please try again later. For more information visit
    www.xbox.com/status.     I have checked xbox.com/status and it says the Apps are running Normally.

    Kinect PlayFit Freezes on startup

    Hello, anyone encountered this problem too? My Kinect PlayFit App just freezes on startup. I need to restart the console every time. The only things that changed since the last time I started my console is the fact that I have downloaded the Kinect Sports
    Season Two Season Pass. I have also downloaded and re-installed the Kinect PlayFit App too.

    Kinect Playfit launches today?

    Great app, nice idea. As mentioned though, it clearly needs some work.

    Just played a couple of hours on Kinect Sports II and there's nothing been added in PlayFit... sad times.

    Kinect PlayFit calorie retrieval started working again on the 25th, but now my calorie statistics history changes wildly each day. Today the monthly totals were way low some months and high other months and the yearly total shows about half of what it used
    to show and half of the main screen total for the year. Didn't do any router reset, and all other Xbox Live and network activity for other computers and devices have been working fine. It may or may not be coincidence, but
    http://www.xbox.com/status showed an outage for "L’Oreal - The Next Level" every day I had a Kinect PlayFit outage, roughly 6 or 7 days, and now the status on the site is fine for all services. Not sure
    if the two services are connected, but Kinect PlayFit is not listed in the status list.

    I'm confused about Happy Time Theater. It worked for counting calories in PlayFit the first time I tried it. Since then it has not worked. I just check the PlayFit supported game list and Happy Time Theater is no longer there. It is however still listed
    within PlayFit. Has it been removed completely from the PlayFit program or the the website list incorrect?

    G'day Wraith! let's get that calorie counter back up and running. Are there any other profiles on your console that could try launching Kinect Playfit to see if it behaves the same way?

    Let's give this a shot:

    • Delete Kinect PlayFit from your console's storage.
    • Clear the cache, then restart the console.
    • Re-download PlayFit
    • Launch the game to try again.
