Discus and support Kinect....one X in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; need help with this one....recently bought the one x and am no longer able to use Kinect sensor from old Xbox one.Do Microsoft sell/supply an adapter...     need help with this one....recently bought the one x and am no longer able to use Kinect sensor from old Xbox one.Do Microsoft sell/supply an adapter that would allow me to use this on the one x?If so,how much would this retail at and how do I get one?

    Kinect....one X

    Since the Kinect has been discontinued, the adapters are pretty hard to come by. Microsoft has been sold out. You'd need to try checking ebay or any local game stores.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?

    Kinect Support for XBox One X

    The Kinect will work on the Xbox One X. It just needs the adapter. Assuming it's the right adapter, then it should work fine with Kinect games and voice commands.

    The Kinect is definitely not built into the Xbox One S or X. That saleman was misinformed.

    No Xbox 360 games that require the Kinect for Xbox 360 sensor are back-compatible. All Xbox One titles that require or use Kinect for Xbox One will work with Xbox One X provided the user has the required Kinect Adapter for Xbox One S/X models.

    After full shutdown Xbox One X does not recognize Kinect.

    You're miss informed. Xbox One X and Xbox One S are still compatible with Kinect through an adapter.
