    Kinect not knowing where floor is


    In settings when you used to click on "I've moved my Kinect" it used to let you select where the floor is. It now only calibrates the sound. When I'm using Xbox fitness and other Kinect games it doesn't always recognise floor activities as it thinks my floor
    is in a different place than what it is. Any plans on fixing this?

    My Kinect seems to be cutting off my feet. I never get the option during setup to see the green floor and confirm its correct. I guess it decides where your floor is on its own.

    What happened to full kinect calibration/setup

    Playing xbox fitness with the kinect is just frustrating now. Half the time where it detects my feet is at my elbows and any time i go to floor for situps it loses tracking. Id say that is a bug and breaks the kinect.

    Several of you have indicated issues with the Kinect struggling with exercises based on the floor.

    Go through the Kinect setup again and lower the floor that the Kinect sees. Hopefully that improves it for you.

    Kinect can't see the floor

    So it can see where your feet are for the Kinect games. Move the coffee table, set up Kinect, adjust the floor level if necessary, and then move the table back. This is what I had to do and now it works flawlessly seeing me walking in front of it or sitting
    on the couch behind it.

    I have to recal Kinect about once a week. The best thing I can say is where it asks you to match the "green" portion with your floor, push it down as far as possible without it going away. This usually works for me.

    Also for most floor exercises I generally do them horizontal to the TV. This seems to help out a ton.
