    Kinect not allowing voice navigation


    My Xbox 1 with Kinect will allow me to say go to Netflix but once I am there I cannot select profile or navigate through the options. Once a show is started I can pause stop play and all of the above but I want to be able to navigate like it is supposed
    to let me.

    White xbox one with sunset overdrive or Warfare 1TB bundle

    Xbox without a Kinect would be lame - no thanks. For gaming its trash for navigation and voice commands and signing in etc its a god send

    Sacked for swearing! I didn't say a word! Anyone else had this?

    If your tv is so loud.. use headphones. Allowing kinect to pick just your voice..

    Will/Should Xbox Kinectless come with voice commands?

    If Microsoft allows users to use voice commands without a Kinect then that's it for the Kinect, it's basically dead. The main selling point of the Kinect is voice commands.

    I have an Xbox One and I have my Kinect plugged in. I use the Kinect whenever my Xbox One is turned on because for the most part it's quicker and easier navigating the UI with my voice.

    You are unable to use SmartGlass to navigate within Xbox Fitness. Instead you will need to use a controller and/or Kinect (either gestures or voice-based commands).

    Microsoft said they have no plans of releasing the Xbox One without the Kinect, but I think Microsoft will release the Xbox One without the Kinect to try and match PS4's price tag. I used to
    be anti-Kinect myself because of the Kinect 1, but I got to try out the Kinect 2 at a friends and I love it. Navigating the UI is made easier with voice commands and I cannot play BF4 without the Kinect - voice commands, head tracker and the leaning feature.
