Kinect-less Xbox One noise when executing game

Hello

I bought a kinect-less xbox one two days ago in a local retailer in my city in Mexico. Everything went as expected at first,

the initial set up, the update, etc. Since I got the FIFA 15 bundle (non-physical copy), I started the download and realized

that when the progress was about 20%, I was able to play the game (with very limited features, understandable), but at the very

moment I launched the game the console started making a very annoying noise, that at first seemed to me like there was something

rubbing the internal fan, however, listening to it more carefully and closer, it seems to come from the rear of the box (where the hdd is placed, I've heard) and sounds like some sort of ticking.

Anyway, even when I stopped the game, the noise kept going for like 15 more minutes while I was browsing the dashboard, then silence.

The scenario repeats every time I launch the game (at the moment is the only one I own). This does not happen when I do any other thing, I played a Bluray, watched some videos on youtube, downloaded a few apps, among others

I've read in this and other forums posts describing noises similar to what I'm describing (from the fan, hdd and some other people say it's a capacitor or a coil) but in the opposite way, silent while executing a game, noise while running the dashboard

The console seems to work normally, pretty good performance actually, but the noise is just too annoying (also, for 450 dollars I'd expect not to have this kind of issues,) besides I'm not sure if that's the symptom of something worst or what

Power Brick noise - does it have an internal fan?

This is the page that ChunkyDeMonkey was talking about, fan noise from the power brick is normal if you have your XBOX set to Instant-On, it uses power to keep Kinect listening. You'll only notice the noise after turning off your XBOX after use (high power
usage). When it uses less power (Kinect listening only) it takes less to cool the power brick therefore less noise.

 

December 2014 Update - Patch Notes?

Maybe it'll fix the *** whining/buzz noise I get on my Kinect-less Xbox One.
