Kinect keeps turning off or won't start after last update

Hi All, For some reason after the last Xbox One update my Kinect will not turn on automatically all the time. I have to go through and power off completely and reset the Kinect to get it to work. It seems to work for a day or so and then it happens again.
Has anyone ever seen this before? Thanks,

Since the last update my kinect keeps turning itself off every 2 minutes any ideas?

 

Blu Ray Player will not read movies

Im also having issues with blu ray movies. Any movie i try blu ray screen appears but movie wont play picture just audio and the white loading circle keeps spinning. This began after last update and at same time kinect has been constantly turning on and
off. Is this getting fixed in April or is my system broken?

 

mines on and off constantly gave up and unplugged it

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try power cycling your consoles by holding the power button on them for 10 seconds until they shut down?

 

Same issue... have power cycled several time. This usually fixes the problem until I turn off the xbone, then the problem comes back

 

I am having the same issue. Kinect turns off or is not registered by console. Unplug Kinect and rep lug and it comes on. In Xbox fitness Kinect will cycle on and off or just shut down completely.

 

Try a factory reset.

Ever since the 11/12/15 update, the Kinect has been erratic and not functioning well due to software issues. It appears that the console boot drivers has problems with the device. There are people who have the same issue where the Kinect won't turn on (mine
does, but it won't operate like it did before the update), or operate well.

The boot sequence in the console likely has become problematic and inadvertently disabled the Kinect if the drivers in the Kinect are not updated.

 

A factory reset is a possible option for you, however I did want to mention that this will delete all games and content from the internal hard drive. If you have your content stored on an external hard drive you will be fine.

 

So what are we supposed to do? Seems to be a common issue.
