Kinect is worth ...

Yet to get a Kinect or see any games worth getting Kinect for. Once there's maybe 5 games worth getting Kinect for then I will get it. Star Wars Kinect I hope is good.

Wait for FRUIT NINJA KINECT and STAR WARS KINECT comes out.

so far the games have been a let down.i have only used mine for video kinect and voice commands whilst watching sky player.hopefully the new lot of kinect games will be more interactive with movement in massive environments and not just on rails with 2-3
basic movements.rise of nightmares has seriously caught my eye but the videos that i have seen show a noticable amount of lag.all the problems with lag and limited recognition are due to the software and not kinect itself so its up to the developers to sort
this out and we could be truly enjoying the kinect experience.

I just don't see much point in Kinect outside of a few specific uses. Most of which will (probably) become tiresome pretty quickly. Anyone who either doesn't like or got bored with the Wii controller will probably not like or tire even quicker of Kinect,
as Kinect basically takes Wii control to the next level. I just don't see many types of games where Kinect would be truly an improvement on standard control. Even genres (like fighters) where Kinect would seem more natural... Think about it. Fighters would
now be limited to the moves a player could actually perform in real life. either that, or there would have to be some triggering motion to begin a fancier move. Kind of loses the realism that way, doesn't it? What about games where you're supposed to be holding
something, like a steering wheel, for instance. Holding your arms in the air, pretending to drive a car is very lame, as would be pointing your finger in the air, pretending to pull a trigger. The way I look at it, Kinect is Microsoft's Eye Toy.

Forget about the hardware and look at all the Kinect games first. See if there's at least one or two you're interested in.
