kinect is off when booting xbox one

Hello.

When i boot up the console, some times kinect shows as turned off although it is connected to the console. When I reboot the console it usually resolves the situation (sometimes even with the reboot kinect is still off), but I am concerned kinect has
a problem because this happened more times in the past.

Also when following instructions that are in support here(http://support.xbox.com/pt-PT/xbox-one/accessories/kinect-sensor-wont-turn-on) resolves
the issue and kinect comes back on. But this issue is recurrent, and I am afraid there is something wrong with kinect!

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Xbox One Shuts Everything Off at Start up

I am having an issue with my Xbox One shutting off my TV and receiver at start up. Everything turns on initially, but at the black screen (just after the green screen) when the Kinect is booting up with the system, Xbox One shuts down the TV and receiver.
Any advice?

I posted this in preview as well i checked mine they flash for 2/3 seconds when console is booting up

They don't flash if i switch the Kinect off

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with having your Kinect sensor. First thing to check, do you have your console set to Instant-on or is it set to Power Save? Also, is your Xbox One plugged directly into a power outlet or do you have it plugged into a
power strip?

I always have it to power save.

The xbox has always been connected to an UPS, to avoid power surges. it is the ups that is connect to a triple, but only two outputs are being used.

Does it have something to do with the kinect?

 

Do you have an external drive connected to the xbox at boot? My Kinect remains off if I boot the Xbox with my WD external drive plugged in. If I boot the Xbox without the external drive and reconnect it after start up, the Kinect works as normal.

 

I have an external 1Tb HDD plugged in.

The thing is that the kinect only occasional does not work.

Most of the time it works as I said above.

 

It's definitely worth trying without using a power strip, as they aren't officially supported and can possibly cause some power trouble which may be affecting your Kinect sensor's connection.

 

I tried plugin it to the wall instead of the UPS but the same thin happened.

Kinnect off when xbox turned on.

Will send it to the repair center and see if they can figure it out.
