Kinect help

Now this is an urgency... Pls help..... I wanna buy a Xbox with kinect....we have to place kinect on the top of the TV but, from the ground till the top of the TV the height measures about 6ft 2in so iam wondering that will it work? Pls help.... I don't
have an option to place it below my tv

Kinect has a 3m cable if that's any help.

Getting the red ring of death depends more on what make of the console you have. The newer consoles ( those made in the llast few years) do not have the problem nearly as much as the first ones did. But yes you can use the Kinect just fine on any of them,
I would say get it and enjoy it.

6.2 feet is well within the height range of the Kinect sensor so you will be fine.
