Kinect Hand gesture problems.

since the new april update im having problems with the Kinect the hand gesture. when I raise my hand the white hand gesture don't come out I just see pointing the tiles but the white hand disappeared I try calibrate my Kinect nothing happens and try to unplug
it and plug it again nothing happened neither. I also reset the xbox and did not fix it. any one having the same issue?

I find my Kinect is a lot more responsive than my wife ;-)

And to select an item you now push rather than wait for it to time out.

It's better than the 360 version by far, but still feels clumsy.

 

I did, when I was using the Amazon and trying to use hand gestures to select the next video, tiles were selecting as I moved my hand, but no hand icon showed up.

 

Well mine's with the dashboard the white hand gesture disappeared. I hope this resolve soon.

Hi dom0713 go to settings-network-advance settings-alternate mac address-clear xbox going to make a reset and that solve me the problem.

 

Who uses the hand gestures? The only thing kinect is useful for is Skype, other than that its a waste of $100.

 

Best hand gesture to use when all else fails is a single finger........................................

i have the same issue since april update!

i reboot xbox one it works for a day and stop working the next day when i turn on my xbox one, but now is not showing the hand again.microsoft fix

 

I got the same problem, no hand icon anymore but I can see that moving the hands I can select items.

 

Same problem here. The hand gesture symbol is gone. If I hard reset my Xbox One, it comes back, but it eventually disappears again. I am not going to hard reboot my xbox One everyday for hand gestures.

 

Still have the same problem since the april update!
