    Hello,

    due covid situation and restrictions I've bought xbox one x with kinect to be able to move and exercise at home. Unfortunately most of xbox 360 kinect sport games are incompatible, is there a change you will make them compatible? There was a voting page,
    is there a way I can request the compatibility for specific games e.g. kinect sports?

    Kinect Support for XBox One X

    The Kinect will work on the Xbox One X. It just needs the adapter. Assuming it's the right adapter, then it should work fine with Kinect games and voice commands.

    The Kinect is definitely not built into the Xbox One S or X. That saleman was misinformed.

    No Xbox 360 games that require the Kinect for Xbox 360 sensor are back-compatible. All Xbox One titles that require or use Kinect for Xbox One will work with Xbox One X provided the user has the required Kinect Adapter for Xbox One S/X models.

    After full shutdown Xbox One X does not recognize Kinect.

    You're miss informed. Xbox One X and Xbox One S are still compatible with Kinect through an adapter.

    Not in any way, the two kinects are totally different and there's no compatibility between them for games or the consoles.

    You will need a Kinect 2.0 (for Xbox one) and the Xbox one Kinect adapter for the Xbox one X.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?
