Kinect games for kids

Will Kinectimals or Once Upon a Monster come out for Xbox One? Or can they be downloaded? I can't any real kid games and that is what we want the Kinect for.

Honestly, I haven't tried any other game. The 360 was a Christmas gift for the kids, but I made sure to get MW3 for myself. They have a bunch of Kinect games and a few others. I could try one of the Kinect games. Any pop to mind that would be good? The kids
have two sports games (Kinect Sports 2, and Big League Sports I think), the Adventure game that comes with it, Kinectimals, and two dance games (Just Dance 2 for Kids, and another one).

I'm not sure about those games, but I'm sure there will eventually be more kid oriented games. I would expect a bunch of "arcade" games made for the Kinect. How about Kinect Sports Rivals? Have you tried that?

 

My daughter is four and love Kinectimals and Once Upon a Monster. We really want to upgrade to the Xbox One but I don't want to make it so she won't have something she enjoys playing too.

 

There's Peggle 2 - I'd start there.

^^ i dont know who told you what but after about 60 or so hours I can conclusively tell the OP that Peggle 2 is not a Kinect game, and for you to suggest it as such is really just....odd.

As of right now not many Kinect games have been released. Dance Central, Just Dance, Fighter Within(not kid appropriate) and Kinect Sports Rivals(kid appropriate) are the only Kinect games available. I would hold off for a bit longer if I were you.

It's not a Kinect game GG, only the US had full kinect controls at launch HERE, while you can use kinect, it was not designed as a kinect game, I

If a game uses Kinect at ALL, it is a Kinect game. Sure, there may be a difference between a Kinect-enabled game or a Kinect-required game, but if the Kinect is used, it IS a Kinect game, no ins, ands, or buts about it... My point is that the OP is looking
for a great Kinect game for his/her daughter - Peggle 2 offers exactly that.

 

No, it's not ridiculous, just a point of view, and in certain regions it had no Kinect support, it's understandable people think that way.

There's nothing. The new Kinect is worthless. There isn't any good games on it unless you like dance or fitness. Other then those you have a crappy fighter, and a so-so Kinect Sports. This is a shame since I loved the original Kinect from day one. The new
one is forced on people like its the greatest thing ever, but it just plain stinks. I wish MS would make it optional and compensate current owners who were forced to buy one they didn't want.

 

Phantasy, we're getting off-topic. The original question was what Kinect(-enabled) games can the OP use for his/her daughter. Nothing more and nothing less - if you don't have any suggestions, then it's probably better not to post.

 

OP if you are on the fence about getting an XB1 and have your 4 year old want to play games using the kinect.. unfortunately, right now you do not have many choices. Your best bet is Zoo Tycoon... but that may be a little advanced for a 4yo. That will change
though... once some indies come and more games are released... we will start to see those types of games...
