Kinect Games Backward Compatible

As there are no new Kinect games coming out for the Xbox One why are the good old Xbox 360 Kinect games not being made backward compatible?

Kinect Sports Rivals is fun....but Kinect Sports 1 and 2 were awesome...and Kinect Adventures was also great. Even some Arcade games with Kinect like Burnout Crash was cool.

I think I had all the Kinect games for the 360. Now I'm stuck with one average game.

So hopefully they will do something for us with that (not cheap) 2.0 camera device except from being logged in when it sees someone's face in front of it.

Kinect games are not backwards compatible with the One.

Hi, the reason the xbox 360 kinect games are not being made backward compatible, is because the the Xbox One Kinect is not compatible with those games. As for the Xbox One Kinect games, they are quite a few on the marketplace. More do get released, so
keep an eye on the store.

 

Sadly, there are not a lot of Kinect games being made for Xbox One because there isn't a large enough demand for it. I rather like my Kinect and wish more games would use it.

 

I've just bought a Xbox one s with kinect camera because I experienced a wonderful kinect gaming party in my friend's home. I suppose I could play those old but great games like Kinect sports, Adventures etc. in my own place, however it's really disappointed
and upset.

Hope Microsoft could consider to put those old kinect game on their list of backward compatibility.

 

The Xbox One Kinect is not compatible with the Xbox 360 games, so I believe that is the reason why. There are still some new games that come out on Xbox One that require a Kinect, such as Dance Dance 2018! Really fun!

 

Xbox 360 Kinect games can only be played with Kinect on Xbox 360 and it would be recognized if you attempt to plug the Kinect Xbox 360 to the Xbox One.

 

couldn't x360 kinect games get upgraded? To be able to work with xbone kinect? Because it seems that both have almost identical tracking technology.

As Microsoft have stopped supporting the Kinect for the most part, it would not make viable business sense to bring games across to #backcompat, if it means more man hours and development time. My best advice, would be to keep your 360! I have no plans to
ever get rid of mine.

Microsoft has already put an end to Kinect and its games... A sad decision, in my opinion. But mine will be as a reminder for the good times of fun!
