kinect for xbox one malfunction?

Are you saying your Kinect won't work or that the console is malfunctioning ?

Wont be getting one unless my xbox 1 malfunctions.

pros about the slim: slimmer can be placed upright.

cons: no kinect port. k older peeps may not want kinect. Also it will cost a couple hundred dollars.

I like how they made it in white. Seriously.... manufacturers are OBSSESSED with black.

You guys don't need to swap out the console AND Kinect if your console is working properly. It's clearly the Kinects that are malfunctioning. Read my posts throughout this thread and you'll see for yourself.

See my reply above, this is a Kinect issue, not about Cortana. The sensor no longer powers on when the Xbox One powers up, it used to and now it doesn't.

It's a result of the October update, so it needs to be fixed.

Correlation doesn't mean causation. It could just be a coincidence that your Kinect started malfunctioning after the October system update.

All I know is I have a Day One Xbox One (no Kinect adapter), and everything is still working for me after this update.
