    Kinect for Xbox One - Extension Cable


    Two quick questions:

    1) Has anyone gotten even a 3rd party method of extending the Kinect sensor cable from it's current 9 feet to say, something like 15 feet?

    2) Is there some technical reason why Microsoft has not already made something like this available?

    As you might have inferred, my TV is wall mounted and the AV closet is about 15 feet away. The wife does not game, and does not want the "ugly" xbox on display to our visitors. Any help greatly appreciated.

    According to the Support article below there currently is no extension cable for the Xbox One Kinect and Support recommend that you move the sensor and console closer together.

    Sorry but there is currently no 3rd party item that will extend the sensor cable for you. Even though there is no extension cable available at the moment that is made by Xbox you can post up a request for such (or search out if others have and upvote theirs)
