Kinect for Skype - Camera no longer working?

I think project spark will use kinect.....also, kinect works great with skype, allows me to ditch my old PC camera for a much better setup.

Sorry to hear it. Try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it and let it sit for 5 minutes

I am having the same problem with my Kinect and Skype on the Xbox One. I haven't found any solutions anywhere, including the Xbox forum. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling Skype on the Xbox One, but that didn't work. Also tried unplugging the Kinect, making
sure camera and microphone permissions were set appropriately for Skype. No luck.

it said no updates needed- when I connected via usb.

Now, Opened skype, made a call using kinect camera.

camera works fine, I can hear other people via earphone connected directly to my remote. However, they cannot hear me via the earphone. If I remove the earphones, they can pickup the sound from the kinect microphone.
