    Kinect failure ratr


    At what point will Microsoft address the failure rate of Kinect. There are many posts of Kinects brick in for no apparent reason. Three months into this launch launch and many suffer from the "Kinect Unplugged". At least they acknowledged the overheating
    of the 360 by extending the warranty. If buying the Kinect separately was an option I could blame myself. But they make it mandatory plus only give you 9ft of chord. Thus doesn't work for many set ups but another issue.

    I personally view the Kinect as a massive failure.

    The new update... Oh dear.

    Genchy, False Equivalence. It is not "my experience" that when an animal walks in front of Kinect and Kinect states "Guest" over the animals head. That is a failure of AI Software. Anyone is free to try this simple demonstration
    of failure by simply having a pet in their home and doing a Kinect Test with the animal present.

    of failure by simply having a pet in their home and doing a Kinect Test with the animal present.

    Correct the last Kinect was a flop as it only sold 24 million units with Kinect Adventures being the highest selling 360 game ever. Huge failure.

    hmm lets look at it this way I might consider the Xbone if the option to leave the Kinect in the box existed unfortunately without the Kinect you have a bricked system and guess what Kinect failures will be the new RROD
