Kinect disconnects

Since the March dashboard redesign, my Kinect continuously disconnects and reconnect during each session; usually remaining powered down for the majority of the time. Have tried unplugging for an extended period of time, clearing the system's persistent
storage, nothing eases the issue. Anyone else experiencing the same issues?

Kinect Disconnects

I've had the Xbox One for a few months now, but lately every time I use it, the Kinect disconnects. When I play a game during the middle of a session, the Kinect will disconnect, and then it'll reconnect very shortly after. It has happened at least once every
single time I've used it for the past like 4 or 5 times, so I don't know what the issue is. My console is updated, I unplugged and replugged the cable, and I went into the Kinect settings and nothing has worked.

I regret to say I do not have an Xbox One Kinect. But, this maybe a situation where the Kinect itself needs to be updated, see Update your Kinect sensor at "Your
Xbox One Kinect Sensor won’t turn on". Also, you can find more information at "Troubleshoot issues with the Xbox One Kinect Sensor" and "Kinect
sensor isn't recognized by your Xbox One S or original Xbox One console". Let us know if this helps.

I am suffering from the exact same issue. It just began doing this about 1-2 weeks ago but at first, it was 1 or 2 times in an extended play through. As of yesterday, it had done it 4+ times within an hour.

I checked out the troubleshooting guide but it basically completed once you said it turns on. From what I can see, there is nothing that deals with random Kinect resets.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe at this point we need to have someone from the Xbox support team follow up.

It occurs when the kinect is disconnected and after doing a reset with the kinect disconnected. We are in Wisconsin and is rather dry this time of year. Our previous Kinect on the old Xbox 360 worked just fine.

Just disconnected my kinect and it worked.

[/quote]Happens to me only when using the Kinect. My daugher get disconnected everytime she move to the left or right . So i told her to keep in the middle in front of the kinect to avoid that . When you disconnect the Kinect everything works fine with
controllers no matter if you are not in the middle of the kinect when is shutdown.
