hi I live in Canada. can anyone help me with the info for where can I buy adapter for old Kinect to use with new XBOX ONE??

Xbox 360 Slim power brick problome

So,i have purchased a new xbox 360 Slim 250GB Model w/kinect.

But the problome is the power brick.

I have used a 120v to 220v converter but it doesn't work. it fried it.

Also,i have tried using an outlet converter but it doens't work

what should i do? (

Will/Should Xbox Kinectless come with voice commands?

I wouldn't mind them implemented the headset for kinect xbox ones but I would prefer them not to for kinectless ones.

Although if MS (or anyone) thought it would convert people to kinect I would be a supporter.

It won't change channels, what Xbox one need is a universal control remote to access the cable or the converter box. Kinect works with my tv only.

Xbox 360 Kinect games will not run on Xbox One, and they never have

Backwards compatible games must be converted, and no special peripheral games will work.

I will have to try this out tomorrow. The kids are on the XBox and with it being New Years Eve and all....

BTW, why was an adapter suggested? My Kinect plugs directly into my XBox. Is it being suggested that I purchase an adapter that converts the output of the Kinect into a USB input for the XBox?
