Kinect connectivity problems

Discus and support Kinect connectivity problems in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hoping someone can help, I'm having a lot of problems with my kinect device, on boot up it seems to work ok but quickly switches to intermittent...     Kinect connectivity problems


    Hoping someone can help, I'm having a lot of problems with my kinect device, on boot up it seems to work ok but quickly switches to intermittent connection issues, turning itself on and off until it finally just gives up and stops working entirely, all in
    the matter of 5 minutes or so. I've looked on the web but have found no fix, some people have apparently had similar issues and bought new kinects, I'd rather not purchase a new one. Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this issue?

    all I'm trying to do is play black ops im not using a PC and I keep seeing this connection interrupted and getting kicked off cbox live I think it's my Xbox console

    Hi SHICE,

    There is an easy way to get a better view of this problem.

    What you need to do is:

    1. Go to your Xbox 360 Dashboard and scroll all the way to the right.

    2. Click on System, Network Settings, select your Network Type and click on Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Please post back the results you get from this test.

    Xbox is taking a long time to start up?

    Do you have kinect...uh connected? I had same problem, unplugged kinect and it boots normally.
