    Kinect Commands navigation no longer work in Netflix App


    Using Kinect commands for navigation no longer works in the Netflix app. Hasn't been working for the past few months.

    Xbox 360 voice commands for Netflix not working

    All of a sudden Netflix on my 360 is longer picking up voice commands. I've tuned my Kinect and can use it on my Xbox system just fine but once I get into the Netflix app, the commands (e.g. Xbox play, Xbox pause etc.) do not work. Are the commands no longer
    supported or something?

    Netflix New Update?

    I just noticed Kinect voice commands dont work with this version as of right now. Hopefully that gets updated soon. Im so used to navigating Netflix's layout with my voice lol.

    This may be due, in part, to the change to "Hey Cortana" on the Xbox One. Have you tried setting up Cortana?

    Update:

    After restarting the Xbox, the voice commands are working. Nothing highlights with green text like the old app. Anyway, I have to navigate the new Netflix app using a combination of Xbox SmartGlass and voice commands...oh well.....

    I'm running into the same problem on two Xbox One consoles. Both consoles have been restarted via the settings menu, and I've killed and restarted the Netflix and Hulu apps. The voice commands to control playback work, but navigation in the app is gone entirely.

    How good is "Xbox bing find..." for finding programming?

    Works great, and I'm heavily accented. As long as set up correctly at the start, you can FULLY navigate everything by voice command - watch movie, play, rewind etc... you can even voice command Internet explorer to browse. I'm fairly sure all the apps
    (Netflix etc...) have this. I didn't spend massive amounts of time with it, but I'm confident with the correct commands all navigation is possible without a controller.

    Just curious does anyone's xbox work perfectly

    I wish the 360s Netflix UI was on the XB1. Using the kinect is funky with the XB1 netfllix app. Sometimes the kinect's shortcut menu pops up when I'm wanting the Netflix Kinect commands to come up. Nightmare that I hope a patch will fix.
