Kinect camera won't scan QR codes.

It seems that the organization that has control of your 'Work/School Account' has requested that this account has two-factor authentication.

I know this might sound like a silly question but when you scanned the QR code, did you do this in the authenticator app itself? If you scan the code using your standard camera app, it won't recognise it.

In the authenticator app, click add account (or the + symbol) - select Work or school account - Select Scan QR code

Don't forget to select 'Show QR Code' on the Chromebook.

Yup the Kinect can scan QR codes.

Any digital camera can scan QR codes. That's a software feature. It would have been more interesting if they integrated that with their Glass software. You could scan a QR code with your phone camera, and it would start the download on your Xbox even if
you weren't present.

Any digital camera can also scan your face and import it into a game. That's mostly interfacing on the game side. In fact, Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 and 2 both did just that with the Live Vision camera. I didn't care then, and I don't care now.

Kinect camera only works if the qr code shows not a generic 25 digit code

Yeah just turned on my xbox to redeem a code for assassin's creed origins and couldn't scan the QR code with my kinect. Had to enter the code manually. I can still log in, using the kinect but is the qr code removed or something?
