Kinect camera activation light activates with Bing searches

Any idea why the little Kinect camera activation light comes on every time you search using the Bing search engine on Microsoft Edge? Done a little testing with other search engines and it really does only seem to happen when using the Bing search engine
that the light activates.

Hi thanks for the quick reply.

Have checked and this light is known as the privacy light and lights up only when the camera is active. Have checked voice commands also and this light does not activate. Again only seems to activate if using the camera or performing a search specifically
using the Bing browser.

Hey,

the kinect has a ambient light sensor in it so the light dims depending on how dark the room is.

As for the light blinking, I think you mean the white light next to the lens, I am almost certain that flashes on when the camera is active/doing something/tracking you etc.

They're more talking about voice activated kinect use, not the camera.
