    Does anyone know if a longer Kinect to Console cable has been produced, and if so where can I get one.

    If the answer is no, then please Mr Microsoft, get A into G and produce one, it can't be difficult to do.

    I am sick of my console sitting on the floor half way between my screen and devices cabinet.

    You can buy Kinect extension cables, try Amazon ive seen 9ft extension cables on there

    Hi All

    Im looking into getting a Kinect for my Xbox 360 S, but my problem is that my surround receiver and Xbox is on a shelf, at the end of a 15m (HQ) HDMI cable. So i have no way to connect the 10ft cable that comes with the kinect, if i place the sensor on top
    of the tv.

    I read somewhere that when i have the "new" Xbox then i _have_ to use the aux port. This combined with the fact that the official cables are only 10+10ft I'm calling out for some ways to work out a connection. Any projector setups out there, and what have
    you done about cabling?

    Is there some way to esablish a wireless data connection (and power the unit with the PSU)?

    Can i buy a "unofficial" cable somewhere that has the "AUX" connection, but at a greater length?

    or

    Can i run a standard usb extention cable and connect it to an ordinary USB port on the xbox?

    even though it says it will work with xbox one, it will not extend the cable for the xbox one version of the kinect.

    You can also use the standard USB connection on the new consoles. The only difference with the Kinect port on the new console is that it also supplies the power, whereas if you use the standard usb ports, you have to have the separate power supply, which
    comes with the Kinect sensor if you buy the standalone model. Then you can just get a USB extension cable. Or as Frill Kill said, they make extension cables for the Kinect port as well.

    According to the Support article below there currently is no extension cable for the Xbox One Kinect and Support recommend that you move the sensor and console closer together.
