Kinect being shipped by FedEx questions. Xbox read this.

I got a email today from xbox with my tracking # for my kinect. Went to FedEx and copied and pasted the #. It came back with no details except for one. Which was that a vehicle shipping vehicle caught fire. Was my kinect one on that?

I also think is ridiculous that I can't just email xbox support. Trying to use the chat is no way faster or easier half the time. On top of getting disconnected from it all the time. I want to no what's going on with my package

Xbox 360 Repair Help

So I sent in my Xbox 360 for repair which was under warranty and last Friday it said it was being shipped back and it was in transit well it took about 3 days to get there originally and now its Monday so that was 3 days and when I try to track it through
Fedex by clicking the package tracking information it bring me to a blank Fedex page with the Fedex back round but no text if it helps I live by Denver Colorado. So can anybody help me out.

 

The Microsoft Console Repair Scam - the "Product shipped to customer" status that means nothing!

Just another quick post. Saw a thread about this exact issue occurring before. Apparently Microsoft says they shipped the console to you, when in reality they only prepared it for pick up by FedEx. So what's happening right now, as far as I can tell, is
the notification we all received about the Xbox One being sent back to us is actually a notification that means, "Your Xbox One is ready to be picked up by FedEx."So FedEx hasn't actually gotten our console yet, just the info. The shipment date we see is the
estimated delivery for an item that, if it was actually picked up the day the shipment information was received, would have arrived at it's destination.

Instead what we get is a notification that says it was shipped back, but wasn't, and is in fact only READY to be shipped back, and after a week or so of that notification from FedEx, will update and say that it was shipped and is coming. So I expect either
tomorrow, 9/8/2014, or Tuesday, 9/9/2014, I will see a new update stating it's actually been picked up and shipped to my house. Which means another week of waiting. Yay.

 

Sorry to hear it. Xbox won't know if the package was on the Fedex vehicle that caught fire. Please contact Fedex themselves. They should have a shipping bill that will include all tracking numbers from the vehicle.

 

Xbox is the one that placed the shipment so they better no. It's not my fault my original kinect broke and xbox had to replace it. They should be responsible for this issue

 

Your original post suggests that it was Fedex vehicle that caught fire. They will be the best people to contact in this matter to find out if your item was on their truck or not.
