    Kinect Adapter - production discontinued


    Hi all,

    I just had a chat with two different customer care agents, both have confirmed that the production of Kinect Adapter (as well as the Kinect) has been discontinued and there is no news about when it will be available again.

    So, after spending 500€ to upgrade to the most powerful console on the planet, I have to get rid of my Kinect (100€ one year ago) because Microsoft decided to stop the production. The same adapter has been given away for free when the One S has been released.
    Now is out of stock everywhere.

    This is how Microsoft and Xbox are taking care of their customers?

    Apparently Microsoft has officially
    discontinued production     of the Kinect adapters.

    The only options left are to find the adapters by third-party sellers online (Amazon, eBay, etc) or get an original Xbox One console.

    Kinect is a discontinued product.

    I know, but I live in Europe and I would like to have Europe or UK plug. And i don't want to pay intercontinental shipping costs. In Europe is out of stock everywhere, it's been removed from the Microsoft Store and the private sellers are selling it for
    100/150€.

    it’s a shame... especially since Microsoft continue to indicate kinect adapter have to be bought on their mainsite ! And people who sells that more than 100€ should be banned from shopping sites.

    Yeah that's just bad business and not acceptable at all. I've been supporting the Xbox product line since the original. I have a Kinect on the 360 and the original Xbox One and feel like I wasted my money upgrading to the One X now.

    Yeah that's just bad business and not acceptable at all. I've been supporting the Xbox product line since the original. I have a Kinect on the 360 and the original Xbox One and feel like I wasted my money upgrading to the One X now.

    Or more like $40 on Amazon.

    Those are for the U.S., but I'm sure there's others available too.
