I was really shocked to see that my Kinect wasn't working like it was on my xbox one

They don't have a Kinect port on the xbox one x how is this possible ?

This is really unacceptable !! i demand answer from xbox on this matter

i traded my console in for the new xbox one x

do you really think i pay 40 € for an extra adapter ?

you handed out free adapter for xbox one s owners it seemed so i don't understand why you can't do this for xbox one x owners?

doesn't make any sense

The BIG problem is that you can't even get the adapter from official from retailers anymore as the word is that M$ has discontinued it along with the Kinect sensor! as it stands now it is only available from places like EBay and similar for what I would
call "Blackmail prices" Microsoft has really dropped the ball on this.. One thing is discontinuing the sensor but to leave upgraders with no way to use their existing Kinect sensor apart from paying "blackmail prices" and not provide the sensor either for
free or at a reasonable price for a reasonable time after the One X's release is just bad customer service.. :-(

I'm in the same situation. I'm an owner of an Xbox One with the Kinect 2 since 2013. I have just bought an Xbox One X and no possibility to buy an adapter at a decent price ... Just a shame !!!

Since my first posting in this thread I have found that there is a suggestion/idea that can be voted on in Xbox users voice concerning the adapter issue..

Can we have an answer from Microsoft, is the Kinect adaptor going to be made available (in the UK for me)? I have bought and X Box One X, it is bad enough the KInect adaptor is not free, but it is not even available. Thinking of returning my XBox One X,.

There is a USB 3.0 adapter for the kinect. They will have a free adapter program. Anyone with an existing kinect serial number can enter into a website for a free adapter if upgrading to a s model.

The Xbox One S was the first one that didn't have the Kinect port. That is why there was a PROMO for a free Kinect Adapter.
