Kinect adapter for Xbox One X: any offer?

Hi

I've pre-ordered the Xbox One X, and I have a Kinect with my Xbox One Elite (I bought it separately).

Can I expect to see an offer for the adapter, as there has been one for the Xbox One S?

Because chashing out again for this would really be the end of the kinect on my side...

For both the Xbox One S and Xbox One X, a Kinect adapter is required in order to link them up. For more information feel free to visit our Kinect Adapter
Info page. Unfortunately, the adapter itself is no longer manufactured so you might have a hard time finding one.

There's been no official announcements for another free Kinect adapter, as far as I know. It's probably best to wait until it releases.

I spoke to a rep tonight. They said no offers are available. IM sure if enough people complain they will do something. They advertised the xbox one x as no adapters

I just had contact with xbox support. And they told me that they ceased production not only on the Kinect sensors itself from what I understood also on the adapters. They are currently only available in the US or for premium prices on second hand websites.
Really poor customer service. They told me to find someone in the US willing to send it to me.

I had the same experience with 2 agents myself. A 3rd agent told me he would keep my case open and try to see if the he could get the service center to send one.

I checked on it and according to the Support Request site the SR is indeed still open to that agent. So I'm hoping for a minor miracle.

What kind of customer care is this?? Ok i get it that the Kinect has not turned out to be the success MS thought it would be, and that they have chosen to discontinue production of it.. But at the other hand release the Xbox One X without a Kinect port and
to not keep the adapter in stock for long enough so that those of us using our hard earned money to upgrade can get the Kinect adapter... DISAPPOINTING in deed :-(
