Kinect adapter for Xbox one s

Hi All,

Has anyone got one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-Xbox-One-Kinect-2-0-Adaptor-Version-Kinect-Adapter-For-Xboxone-S...

Are they legit? Do They work?

Contacted Microsoft and they told me to look on the Microsoft store, but to no avail. They said that they have 'participating retailers' (Ebay and Amazon) but they are sold on there for the same price as a UK Xbox one s!

I may give up the Xbox as I and my friends have kids who love the kinect, and paying through the tooth I am not for an adapter! Is there a way to solder a kinect port on? If none of these come up trumps, I may go over to Sony for future gaming.

The Kinect adapter for the Xbox One S will also work for the One X.

I haven't heard of anyone using these or other 3rd party adapters. It is a shame that entrepreneur types have bought all remaining stock and have over inflated the price. The kinect is no longer being made, couldn't speculate on adapters future availability.

Didn't know Sony had introduced a kinect.

on mexico the adapters are still selling you should look if you can purchase one.

Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?
