Kinect adapter ... false advertising

Discus and support Kinect adapter ... false advertising in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; so I am getting a Xbox one x for xmas ...     Kinect adapter ... false advertising


    so I am getting a Xbox one x for xmas ... I have the original Xbox and was worries Kinect would not work .. but advertising for the x says all accessories will work .... great ... but I am unable to get a Kinect adapter ... check online .. and with a member
    of your support page who sent me to America. UK .. Australia etc to find one ... no one sells brand new ... spoke to 3 other people and was told

    to check back In a week to see if back in stock , then was told Kinect works no problem , and then I have now had it confirmed that Microsoft no longer make the Kinect or the adapter .... meaning your advertisement is a lie ... misleading and I beliee to
    be breaking the law ... if you do not sell or make the adapter anymore then not all accessories will work ... I was told to buy a cheap webcam and it will be fine ... wich is also a extra cost and I beliee this to be a lie also ... I want to make a formal
    complaint and was told to do this here ... I want a explanation to this ... I am not paying 3 times the price to buy a second hand adapter and will be going to trading standards if this is not resolved

    Kinect Sports Rivals....Would be good, if the Xbox One X actually supported the Kinect without needing additional hardware...Despite their false advertising of "all accessories from your previous consoles will work without any adapters needed"...So add a
    little something extra to the price, for the adapter for the Kinect Kinect adapter ... false advertising ;)

    hey zemo, I’ve had the same thing I brought a Kinect with some games and no adapter. All the said was you have to buy one which are around £119 pound which is a rip off and false advertising. It never mentioned about needing an adapter and now my son is
    without a Christmas present

    Xbox One X - False advertising?

    Again, I know it died, I let it go. Buying a £40-50 extra adapter won't make me poor if I decide to buy the XboX One X.

    That doesn't mean the Kinect is not classed as an "Xbox accessory I've got now" though, ergo false advertising on Microsoft's side.

    The point isn't if we're ok with paying for the adapter or not, it's still false advertising saying that it will work with every xbox one accessory from the past. The biggest and most expensive one (except the expensive "pro" gamepads) doesn't work with
    it without an adapter. You and me know about it, will parents/grandparents know when they buy them for xmas for early adopters of the xbox one and people who chose to buy the kinect? I seriously doubt it..

    Shame on you Microsoft

    Everything does work, you can't blame Microsoft for greedy scalpers jumping in and buying up stock. They announced 25th October that the Kinect was not being manufactured, so it would figure that the adapters would be stopped soon after. They probably manufactured
    more than enough but scalpers got them first.
    But they are still falsely advertising the XBox One X and Xbox One S as fully compatible with the Xbox One when they are not longer compatible with the kinect, so we can blame them, and I think we could even take legal actions against them since this two
    products which are are advertised as fully compatible, are not, because they decided to drop production on a required adapter.
