    Kinect Adapter at the Original Xbox One


    I have a mounted TV with 50 foot HDMI cables running through the walls to a shelf on the opposite side of my living room with all of my devices, Apple TV, Xbox and BD player. We had an extension cord for the original Xbox 360 Kinect and my family really
    enjoyed making use of it, but have gotten rid of the 360 and now use an Xbox One.

    Since there is no extension cord for the Xbox One Kinect I was wondering if the adapter would work for the original model Xbox One and/or if a USB extension cord would work between the adapter and the Xbox. Does anyone have any experience with either of those
    things? Thanks.

    Kinect and Rabidds Invasion on Xbox One X

    Since Microsoft discontinued the USB Kinect adapter for the Xbox One S/X, the only way you'll be able to play Kinect games at this point is to:

    A) Find an adapter from a third-party seller on Amazon, eBay, Craigslist, etc...

    B) Find a used, original Xbox One console. That has the necessary Kinect port built-in.

    Are you using the Xbox 360 with Kinect, or do you have an Xbox One with Kinect 2?

    Also do you have an original Xbox One with Kinect directly connected to the console, or a Xbox One S or X with a separate Kinect Adapter to connect Kinect to your S or X console?

    If you have an external Kinect adapter for S or X consoles, what color is the light on the adapter?

    no more kinect adapters

    Same for me. I've purchased an Xbox One S to replace my original Xbox One with Kinect. The port disappeared and the adapter is no more available .... Kinect is useless now.

    A shame, Microsoft. A simple adapter !!!
