    I like many others run a projector set up or have a dedicated A/V component stand which is far away from actual TV or projector location. I myself need a 15 foot extension to utilize the Kinect 2, not everyone has a slapped together room where the xbox sits
    directly beside or underneath the TV. I have been researching third party for possible extensions being made but so far nothing has turned up, the proprietary cable is nice but a pain in the a** if you need to extend it, Has anyone heard of a cable being released
    or has this been looked into yet by Microsoft?

    According to the Support article below there currently is no extension cable for the Xbox One Kinect and Support recommend that you move the sensor and console closer together.

    Hi scrappy! Unfortunately there is no extension cable available right now but maybe in the future. If you can, you should try moving everything closer for the time being until an extension cable becomes available. Hope this helps.
