Can we please buy these standalone , im not buying 2x ultra editions just to get them

X1 needs more XBLA style games and not overpriced indy garbage and stupid minecraft

Just buy the Ultra editions. It'd be cheaper in the long run. $80 total for 4 games(if you consider season 1 and season 2 of KI3 as separate games)

I'd rather they stay exclusive to the Ultra editions.

Also the way games are releasing now is so much better than the *** we got on XBLA. They would literally put out some of the worst games just to have a weekly game. The XBLA just dropped in quality after around 2007. Weekly releases killed it.

 

I saw the retail season one in shop today, great price but didnt include either KI classic games so i didnt buy

I want to buy the original Killer Instinct 2 only without the having to buy the digital version of Killer Instinct season 2.

This is going to be like Halo 4 all over again (where I just wanted to play Spartan Ops, not the campaign / story mode), so I didn't pick-up Killer Instinct season 2.

KI Ultra edition Season 1 is half price at the moment, picked it up just for KI classic

 

Ditto, just picked up the Ultra Edition for Season 1 for twenty bux, from the digital store. Price good through next Monday, I think?

OP does make a good point about needing more arcadey games, though. I'd be all over Pacman Championship DX, for starters.

Even " IF " or " WHEN " the Ultra Edition for Killer Instinct 2 goes on sale for $20.00 in the future, I will not pick-up Killer Instinct 2 Classic because the stand alone value of Killer Instinct 2 Classic is only worth $10.00

Killer Instinct 1 Classic and Killer Instinct 2 Classic will never become stand alone games because they are being used as incentives to buy the Ultra Editions; that is the reason that they aren't on the disk versions at all.

Yes, they are incentives to buy Ultra Editions but they really shouldn't be released as stand alone games lol. Like others said, Season 1 on sale now for a great price and I'm sure Season 2 will follow.
