    Killing Floor 2 issues.


    There has been a game glitch going on with this game since Wednesday, September the 2nd. Essentially the progression in the game is frozen, with player XP not saved between matches.

    The developer, Tripwire Interactive, has been aware of this issue since then and is working with Microsoft to solve this.

    TWI states that there is a problem with Xbox Live backend that is mishandling the player info and causing the progression to freeze.

    May I ask Microsoft to confirm their statements, and if indeed they are working with TWI to fix this ongoing bug?

    Additionally, may i suggest that the Xbox Live status be updated to reflect the sheer unplayability of this title right now?

    There really is no point in users playing this game now if there are no progression awarded.

    Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with downloading games. Whether you buy a game on disc or download it from the Microsoft Store, you need to install it on your console’s hard drive before you can play it.

    • What device are you using?
    • Do you receive an error message?

    I would recommend to check out the following troubleshooting resources:


    If so far it hasn't worked you can always try the following If on an Xbox One:

    (if it hasn't already been done) a reset of the console since
    the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a
    Soft Factory Reset(while keeping games and apps)
    Before resetting your console make sure of the following:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)



    Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup let's do
    manual setup.Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!
