Killer instinct windows 10 unable to uninstall

Hi, I can't seem to uninstall killer instinct on windows 10. I've been having trouble updating the game, where it only downloads about 20MBs at a time with me having to pause/unpause the download. I tried to do a reinstall but the uninstall option is unresponsive.
I've tried using the start menu uninstall button and the apps and features system settings button, and neither worked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Uninstalling Games & My Games and Apps

I uninstalled Killer Instinct and when I go into My Games and Apps at the very end there is a faded Killer Instinct box and when I click the box it sends me to the Store to install the game again.

Why does Microsoft leave that there? If I have a game installed on my PC and I uninstall the game the shortcut will vanish because it makes sense.

HI there, you could try Power Shell to remove it.

Press Windows Key + X, select Command Prompt (Admin).

Type powershell and press enter.

Now type:

Get-AppxPackage *killerinstinct* | Remove-AppxPackage

Hi sorry for the late reply.

Powershell didn't seem t work but after rebooting my computer a couple of nights ago the game had just disappeared from my hard drive. I've since reinstalled the game and it's working perfectly. Thanks for the help.

Sorry to hear your KI Gold is missing on the Xbox One version. If the correct amount is showing while you're signed into the PC version, let's start by uninstalling and reinstalling Killer Instinct by following these specific steps.

Uninstall Killer Instinct
Power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the power button for 10 seconds, or until the console fully powers down.
Power back on and install Killer Instinct.
