Killer Instinct Ultra-Combo.com Forum Battles

For the past few weeks some friends from the ultra-combo.com forums (the official site and forums for everything Killer Instinct) have been hosting a play-date of sorts for the Killer Instinct community in order to promote the game, the site, and the overall
fan-made community surrounding both while broadcasting it on Twitch for all to see. Being an Xbox One game (and soon to be Windows 10) on Xbox Live, I wanted to share this information here with you since today culminated in our official recognition by the
game's developers, as we were invited to showcase matches on the OFFICIAL Killer Instinct Twitch channel in front of hundreds of viewers, while also competing against various pros and even the game's very own community manger, CStyles45, whom I managed to
beat once myself. The ONLY requirement to participate and be a part of this event is to sign up on the ultra-combo.com site using your Xbox Live GT and to make a request in the corresponding thread - that's it! It takes place in a private lobby every Saturday
at 2 p.m. as well as on the official Killer Instinct channel on Twitch (as well as being simul-cast on a few other user-made channels as well). If you'd like to learn more about the event, you can go to ulra-combo.com's general discussion forums and find the
thread called "Ultra Combo Forum Battles" or you can message any of the event's founders, RGL Official, Mr xFlutterShy, or Sightless Kombat - they'll be more than happy to help you out or steer you in the right direction. This event is done in the spirit of
growing the game's community, the fighitng game community at large, the site's own community, Xbox Live, and is also used for helping gamers appreciate the game and have fun and learn how to effectively play the game as a whole. I hope to see you there next

Top 5 Xbox One Gaming Forums You Visit!

Wait, there's an Amazon gaming forum? Seems like an odd pairing if you ask me. And they get more traffic than here? That's truly sad...

Anyone visit the official Killer Instinct forums over at ultra-combo.com yet? They just did a major upgrade that I think this site should follow.

 

How much to upgrade to Ultra Edition if I have Combo Breaker Pack?

I certainly hope they'll offer some sort of discount eventually, because at present there is no way to even buy the Ultra Edition in Sweden - along with a bunch of other tier 2 countries.

According to a post on the official Killer Instinct forums (ultra-combo.com) Microsoft are looking into the issue and are working to resolve it asap. It won't change the fact that most of us bought the Combo pack to play *any* Killer Instinct, and when the
Ultra Edition does pop up we'll basically have to buy the whole game all over again.
